Internships
EPFL provides annually short-term internship opportunities for students from leading IITs in India to learn new skills and gain hands-on experience in their field while working with leading professors/scientists.
This year it has been decided to down size the program due to the overwhelming number of applications that we received last year and the limited amount of internships available at EPFL. Applications will be restricted to only a very limited number of IITs and study areas.
Applicants must be able to start their internship between May 1st-5th, 2014 and finish between July 20th-31st 2014, the minimum duration of an internship is 10 weeks. Shorter stays will not be accepted.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate or dual-degree students in IIT Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur or Madras only. The areas of study for each institute are stipulated below. You must have a CGPA of at least 8.8 at the end of your 4th semester (6th semester for 4th year dual-degree students), completed your 3rd study year and must be Indian citizens or permanent residents of India.

Application Procedures
You must complete the attached application form and apply through the Practical Training Coordinator of your department of institute. He will forward the most qualified applications to EPFL by October 21st, 2013. Scholarships will be awarded competitively based on the candidate's academic qualifications and on availability of internship opportunities.

Guidelines for Practical Training Coordinators
Please pre-screen all applications and forward in each category the most qualified candidates to Caroline Cherpillod by October 21st, 2013. No applications received after this date will be considered.
As the number of interns that we can accommodate is limited, we therefore kindly ask you to restrict the number of applications in the categories mentioned above.
