JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Work on ITAM and Technical projects assigned by manager as needed to support:
1. Project ramps Site closure/consolidations Desktop refresh initiatives Client SOW desktop configuration requirements Manage inventory and discovery databases to maximize hardware surplus utilization to reduce costs.
2. Manage inventory and discovery databases to maximize software surplus utilization to reduce costs.
3. Execute upload scripts and macros to add hardware acquisitions into Asset Management database with correct formatting.
4. Execute upload scripts and macros to add software acquisitions into Asset management database with correct formatting.
5. Process desktop, laptop, and software service requests in SMS to meet SLA targets. Process desktop, laptop, and software incident requests in SMS to meet SLA targets.
6. Communicate with Finance to maintain accounting records for inventory, NBV, and depreciation status.
7. Maintain pricing catalogue for all desktop/software services. Ensure desktop statement of services billing accuracy.
8. Provide complex reporting services with Excel using pivot tables, macros, V-lookup, filters, formatting tools, using database extraction.
9. Process end of life equipment disposal based on regional standards and guidelines. Continuous training, mentoring, and cover for A3 and A4 level team members.

Candidate Profile :
1. Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university with zero to three years related experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Thorough knowledge of Asset Management software and functionality required for hardware and software asset tracking required in order to maintain database Thorough knowledge of hardware/software discovery, tracking, deployment tool mandatory.
3. Ability to create and execute scripts/macros to extract and manipulate data. Fully competent in utilizing HP SMS tools and HP Asset Manager.
4. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe, and various other desktop software tools.
5. Comprehensive understanding of software licensing legalities and compliance is required. Must be fully literate in desktop technology design and terminology for PC and Laptop configurations and suppliers.
6. Solid knowledge of desktop hardware components such as hard disk drives, CPU (processors) families, memory configurations, system boards, power supplies, batteries, LCD monitors, video cables/boards, sound boards, etc.
