JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
The candidate should be able to test our type technology solutions in Android or other platform such as Linux, SBC, Raspberry Pi, etc.
At a routine level, the Quality Engineering Trainee designs, prepares, documents, and executes software quality assurance (SQA) testing.
Utilizes formal test and SQA methodologies and constructs test databases and network setups.
Analyzes and reports significant bugs and tracks all bugs and project issues.
Impact of efforts typically fall within own work area or team area
Platforms that require building our code with the Operating system code and running the any associated compatibility test suites
Should be able create test suite to test our type technology solution by writing application for that platform. For example, you should also be comfortable creating test cases written in Java for Android or other platforms such as QNX.
Will also need to understand and work with team that works on World Type Layout engine to test various complex languages with different font formats.
Bring some awesome ideas to and develop wonderful solutions at the Monotype hackathons held periodically
Make significant contribution to employee programs like health and wellness, community outreach, company events etc.
