Bachelor of Science Degree: EE or ECE or CS degree.

Must requirements:

1-3 years of experience in Device Driver Development.

Device Driver Programming experience in Linux.

Strong Operating System concepts(preferably in I/O subsystem).

Strong C Programming skills.

Good Problem Solving and debugging Skills.

Ability to work as a responsible individual with very minimal guidance.

Source code management and SDLC process.

Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred skills:

Device Driver Programming exposure in any of VMWare/FreeBSD/Solaris.

Exposure to Storage I/O protocols like SCSI, SATA, SAS & FC.

Exposure to PCI and ability to develop software for PCI hardware.

Exposure to hardware architecture fundamentals.

Experience with debugging tools like gdb, kgdb, crashdump analysers and protocol analyzers.
