We are looking for a Senior Automation SQA engineer with 4 to 5 years of hands on Automation testing experience.
He/she will probably have had a recent role as a senior SQA Engineer or equivalent in a cutting edge software development or professional services team, ideally within an internationally recognized or global company.
He/she generally works well under deadlines and is capable of handling workloads and priorities with minimal supervision.
The candidate is expected to follow established quality assurance processes and standards for the testing of all applications using the recommended set of tools. He/she will work collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure high quality delivery of the application in line with customers business requirements and delivery timeline.

Responsibilities:
Understand requirements specifications and design documents while working alongside business analysts and software developers to become knowledgeable on the solution features.
Develop thorough test plans, test designs and test cases in a timely and efficient manner for all areas of the solution as assigned.
Develop automation framework and implementing in different protocols and projects.
Develop Automation scripts in Quick Test pro/ Unified functional Tester.
Executing Automated regression scripts in QTP and reporting/capturing the results in Quality center.
Participate in requirements and design reviews and ensure adequate information is provided to develop comprehensive test cases.
Test software for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards.
Develop, write and execute test cases during system integration and regression testing phases of solution development.
Identify and document software defects during program evaluation and testing using recommended tools.
Follow quality assurance standards, processes, and controls and work to continuously improve the QA processes.
Provide user/business acceptance testing support as required.
Participate in the change control process and ensure all changes are effectively incorporated into test cases.
Adhere to all configuration management standards and procedures related to the storage and management of test cases.
Perform application health checks(sanity and accepatance testing) to reduce errors in deployment.
Perform quality audits to verify standard procedures are being followed.
Participate in lessons learned sessions and recommend improvements.
Perform assigned quality assurance tasks based on the estimated timelines and report status according to project procedures.
Training and mentoring junior SQA engineers in the team.

Desired candidate profile:
Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and team members.
Minimum of 4+ years of Hands on experience in HP Quick Test professional/Unified Functional Test tool.
Prior experience in building a Automation framework.
Experience in working with QTP Add-in creation and HP Extensibility Accelerator.
Experience in Testing Cloud/mobile Applications.
Thorough understanding of iterative software development life cycle.
Good in logical, analytical and aptitude skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and identify ambiguity and drive for clarity.
Experience developing complex test cases for financial systems is a plus.
Ability to think outside the box and identify comprehensive testing scenarios based on Use Cases and User Interface Designs.
Ability to dig in and understand the details of how the application works.
Provide quality of deliveries and escalates issues and concerns timely enabling adequate resolution.
Ability to raise questions on the assignments and seeking guidance when needed.

Technical Requirements:
Solid experience in developing and executing test cases according to business specifications.
Familiarity with software testing tools such as Quality Center, QuickTest and Load runner.
